And don’t get me wrong: I’m really not interested in seeing Robert Downey Jr. make out with anyone. But check out the operative phrase there. I’m not interested. Not that women aren’t interested. They're not even kissing! That's the funny part. Robert Downey Jr was just trying to make press for his new movie, and it got this fool's his heart palpitating. He's about to have a stroke trying not to think about Holmes bottoming for Watson. Cause you know that would be some dirty stuf.

Because it's the new America. Where one doesn't keep in touch with what's happening out there. Especially if you work in the film industry.

I mean, even plenty of straight guys I know are aware of the concept of bromance now. If nothing else, as a film critic, he should say something intelligent on the subject. Not burden us with his personal worries.

LOL...okay, not only has he been living in a cave (not my Dirty Old Lady Cave, even), but he's also a moron. Doesn't he know *anything* about Robert Downey Jr.? He's *joking*, playing up the subtext. Nowhere does he say Watson and Holmes are doing it.

Good gravy, small minds. And I love the comments that are all "Oh noes, now I won't see it!" *sigh* But there are some really great comments in there, that are letting him know what's what. I hope he reads them.

I like Robert Downey Jr., but I'm not sure I want him for this role. I wish Mark Strong could have been Sherlock. And you can bet a million dollars I'd pay big bucks to see him and Jude make out. *quivers*

Please, please, please don't put images in my head. It'll be my great test to not make a big post about how Guy Ritchie secretly wanted Strong for the role of Holmes, as evinced in the way he dressed Strong in RocknRolla, etc. I writhed for days imagining him in the role, all gaunt and obsessed with internal things, and then now I should see him in my head up against the wall with Jude Law?? *wails*

Guy Ritchie is my hero. Though I wish he would have made Strong/Law in this film, or just gone ahead and done RocknRolla2. It's a sequel I despair of never materializing...doesn't he know it's bad luck to advertise the sequel at the end of a movie before you've made the sequel? That's backfired too many times. Gah.

(But you know, they are making another Remo Williams. It's only twenty years later. *gah*)

I read this a few days ago and cackled. That man is either a clueless gay man or an obnoxiously stupid straight man. What gets me is I rarely see something that naive posted on the internet. Which, for me, is the Land of Two Men (Or More) Kissing. That's like the whole point of the Internet. That, and two chicks kissing.
